Level: Beginner-You know how to use a sewing machine and can consistently stitch a straight line.

This quilt is a customer favorite and perfect for someone who wants to learn how to quilt! The “Fat Quarter Shuffle” pattern is beginner friendly and looks great in your choice of fabrics. It makes a great baby or lap quilt.

In this class, you’ll learn to cut fabric using a rotary cutter, ruler, and mat. You’ll begin piecing a quilt top and leave with the skills to finish the top on you. You may have homework between classes.

Please note: Finishing your quilt (basting, quilting on your home machine, and binding) is taught in the Learn to Quilt, part 2: Basting and Binding class on July 6 and 13.

Fabric requirements:

Pattern purchased at the Sewing House

10 fat quarters, backing, and binding fabric according to pattern directions
