Sweet and simple often makes the loudest statement.  This garment with its soft and feminine gathers does just that.  The edges of the neck and armhole feature a narrow band accented with a tiny ruffle.  The finishing of the ruffle edge, along with the quick and easy placket used in this skirt, will be one of the many techniques that you reach for over and over.  This pattern is available in sizes 2 - 12.

Level: Adult ADVANCED BEGINNER - You have some sewing experience. You can consistently sew a straight line and a 1/4” seam. You must have mastery of your sewing machine including:  threading, bobbin winding, changing needle, stitch length adjustment, and changing out presser feet. 

Class requirements:  Fabric and pattern must be purchased from Lace Cottage.  Costs will vary based on the type of fabric and the size you choose.  Fabric and thread suggestions will be available in Lace Cottage.  Estimated cost of materials and pattern: $50 and up.
