Business Intelligence & Sales Operations Analyst (Part-Time)
Position Summary
The Sewing House is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical professional to transform data into meaningful insights that drive smarter business decisions. This role gathers and analyzes information from POS systems, Shopify, Pipedrive CRM, inventory, affiliate programs, and marketing platforms to support improvements in sales, profitability, inventory management, and customer experience. This is a proactive, high-impact role focused on identifying trends, recommending solutions, and helping the business continuously improve.
Primary Responsibilities
Sales Analytics
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
• Track performance by location, department, category, and salesperson.
• Monitor machine sales, attachment rates, financing, warranties, and average transaction value.
• Analyze trends and build executive dashboards.
CRM & Sales Funnel Management
• Maintain and manage Pipedrive CRM reporting.
• Monitor pipeline health, leads, opportunities, quotes, wins, losses, and follow-up compliance.
• Report conversion rates, sales cycle length, and pipeline value while recommending improvements.
Employee Performance Reporting
• Develop scorecards tracking units per transaction, average sale, machine close rate, accessory sales, follow-up completion, CRM activity, quote conversion, sales goals, and department/individual performance.
Inventory Analysis
• Identify slow-moving, dead, overstocked, and fast-selling inventory.
• Recommend markdowns, reorders, purchasing strategies, and product mix improvements.
Affiliate & Marketing Reporting
• Track affiliate sales, commissions, referral programs, campaign performance, email marketing, customer acquisition, retention, and ROI.
Executive Reporting
• Prepare recurring executive dashboards covering sales, gross margin, inventory health, CRM performance, employee performance, marketing effectiveness, affiliate performance, store comparisons, goal tracking, and recommended action items.
Continuous Business Improvement
• Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities across sales, inventory, CRM, marketing, and operations.
• Present recommendations supported by data.
• Measure results of implemented initiatives.
• Develop new KPIs as the business evolves.
• Track London incentive trip progress, sales contests, Shop Hop events, promotions, budgets, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, charts).
• Experience with Pipedrive CRM preferred.
• Experience with Shopify reporting and retail POS systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail.

Machine Sales Specialist / Sales Associate Memphis Store
Position Summary
The Sewing House is seeking a motivated sales professional with previous retail sales experience and a passion for sewing, quilting, and embroidery. This position is responsible for creating exceptional customer experiences while driving machine, accessory, fabric, and notion sales. We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, meeting sales goals, asking for the sale, and creating repeat business.
Primary Responsibilities
- Achieve individual and store sales goals.
- Sell sewing, quilting, embroidery, and longarm machines, accessories, software, fabric, and notions.
- Demonstrate products and confidently explain features and benefits.
- Recommend complementary products to increase customer success and overall sales.
- Build customer relationships through proactive follow-up using Pipedrive CRM.
- Maintain strong product knowledge through ongoing training.
- Assist with merchandising, inventory, store displays, and special events.
- Work as part of a high-performing sales team.
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience required.
- Proven success meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Sewing, quilting, embroidery, or crafting experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable learning technology and premium sewing products.
- Experience with a CRM system (Pipedrive preferred).
- Self-motivated, professional, and results-oriented.
