TOTAL UPDATE - 121 NICU Isolette Covers Donated!
Original blog post 8/20/25:
We'd like to share a special message from Jennifer and Tom Reith, owners of The Sewing House, Lace Cottage, and Delta Fibre Arts:

We’re Proud New Grandparents…Times Two!
Tom and I are overjoyed to share that we welcomed identical twin grandsons — we’re proud to be “Gigi & Pops”…again!

These sweet boys surprised us by arriving about 15 weeks early, but they have been strong little warriors from the very beginning. We are so proud of our daughter-in-law and son, who are already showing themselves to be such loving, devoted parents.

We are deeply grateful for the prayers and support so many of you have offered during these last couple of weeks.

While visiting our new grandbabies, a beautiful service opportunity opened up for our sewing and fibre arts community to come together in support of all NICU babies — including our grands.

Their hospital is in need of these donated items:
  • 100 quilted Isolette covers
  • As many cuddle/scent hearts as possible
  • Crocheted or knitted graduation caps to celebrate babies when they are strong enough to leave the NICU.
We hope you’ll join us in these service projects through September. Together, we can wrap these little ones (and their families) in comfort, love, and encouragement.

Visit our shop for a pattern or contact us for emailed pattern. If you need batting and quilting services provided for the isolettes, we can help. We will be hosting volunteer sewing and crocheting/knitting days at our Collierville shop if you’d like to work as a group. Thank you for showing love to these NICU babies and your many prayers!
