Beginning Knitting II-December 6-Memphis

Friday, December 6 and 13, 3pm to 5pm, Memphis

If you are an advanced beginner knitter or have previously taken the first Beginning Knitting course at Delta Fibre Arts, then participating in this course will elevate your knitting to the next level!

In this course, you will learn the basic purl stitch, ribbing techniques, knitting in the round, decreasing in the round, and knitting using double pointed needles. You will walk away with a hat that you’ve knit yourself!

Level: Adult Advanced Beginner. You are able to cast on and complete the knit stitch

Yarn requirements purchased at the Sewing House/Delta Fibre Arts (only choose one option:)
1 skein of Malabrigo Rios
1 skein of Malabrigo Worsted
TWO skeins (both the same color) of Berroco Millstone Tweed
1 skein of Berroco Ultra Wool
TWO skeins (both the same color) of Knitting For Olive Heavy Merino
Free pattern emailed after registration 

Notion Requirements available at the Sewing House/Delta Fibre Arts: 
16” circular needles in size US 5 (ChiaoGoo bamboo recommended)
16” circular needles in size US 7 (ChiaoGoo bamboo recommended)
Set of 6” double pointed needles in size US 7 (ChiaoGoo bamboo recommended)
Stitch markers
Tapestry Needle
Tape Measure
