Alterations Technique Class: How to Hem a Skirt/Pants-July 16-Memphis

Are you struggling with pants or skirts or dresses that are too short or too long? This skill-building class teaches two common hemming methods-by machine and by hand.

Jennifer will show you hemming techniques on scrap fabric. You won't alter your own garment in this class, but you’ll leave with a clear understanding of how to approach hemming your clothes. 

Level: Adult INTERMEDIATE- You are confident in your sewing skills. You can consistently sew a straight line. You must have a mastery of your sewing machine including threading, bobbin winding, changing needle, stitch length adjustment, and changing out presser feet.

Fabric requirements purchased at the Sewing House:
Kit (approximately $20)
