Archie Backpack-January 16-Collierville

The Archie backpack is the perfect bag for all your adventures. This bag would make a perfect school backpack, work bag, or personal travel bag. The pattern is easy to follow and put together.

In this class, you will learn bag construction including inserting zippers and making straps with hardware. You will make a gusset and apply bias strips to finish your bag. You may have homework between classes.

Advanced Adult Beginner -you have sewing/quilting and completed at least one project. You can consistently sew a straight line and and a 1/4” seam. You must have a mastery of your sewing machine including threading, bobbin winding, changing needle, stitch length adjustment, and changing out presser feet. You are able to use a rotary cutter and mat to cut your fabric.

Class requirements purchased at the Sewing House:
Archie Backpack pattern
Fabric according to pattern requirements (One yard main fabric, one yard lining fabric, one yard accent fabric)
Webbing for straps
Bag hardware and zipper
