Are you in need of a quick but meaningful holiday present? Then take this class to learn how to crochet a charming soft book cover that anyone will love! This book cover is a great introduction and refresher to crochet stitches. If time allows, your instructor will also teach you how to make a bookmark!

Level: Complete beginner--you have no prior skills or need a refresher on crocheting

Finished Product: You will make a charming soft book cover, and if time allows, your instructor will also teach you how to make a bookmark!

Class Details: In this one-session class, you will learn the fundamentals of crocheting, including how to hold the yarn as well as complete the chain stitch, single crochet stitch, and double crochet stitch.

Pattern: Your instructor, Candice, will provide the pattern in class. There is no additional purchase necessary for it.

Yarn and notion requirements, available at The Sewing House:

• 1 skein of Woolstock Worsted yarn
• 5 mm crochet hook
