Learn to Knit-March 11-Memphis

Wednesday, March 11 and 18, 6:00 pm to 7:30pm, Memphis

In this two-session beginner class, you’ll learn the basics of knitting while creating a cute headband—with a twist! There will be homework between the class sessions.

In this class, you will learn reading a simple pattern, holding needles, making a slip knot. casting on the knit stitch, binding off, and weaving in ends.

Level: Adult Beginner-no prior skills necessary

Yarn requirements purchased at the Sewing House/Delta Fibre Arts:
Pattern supplied by instructor (cost is included in class fee)
Chunky-weight yarn such as Malabrigo Vientos or Chibi Paka Chunky. (Please have yarn wound into a cake if necessary.)
Size US 9 (5.5mm) straight needles
Tapestry needle
