Advanced Free Motion Quilting- January 18-Collierville/Virtual

Saturday, January 18 and April 26, 1pm to 3pm, Collierville
Saturday, February 22 and March 15, virtual class sessions

Prerequisite: This class is for students who have previously taken Introduction to Free Motion Quilting at the Sewing House or another FMQ class with Nysha

This sampler will show the impact of thread’s gauge and colour on the quilted surface to increase awareness of the nuances and choices open to them when free-motion quilting.

In this class, students will deepen their knowledge of continuous line design by (a) finding inspiration, (b) dissecting the design, and (c) creating sampler to exemplify this knowledge.

Fabric requirements (available at the Sewing House. Nysha will help with fabric selections at your first class)
3 solid fabrics -1/8 yd each
4+ patterned fabrics-1/8 yd each
3/8 to 1 yard fabric for backing (Solid colour recommended)
1 yard batting of choice
1/2 yard fabric for binding
