Bernina Presser Feet Must Haves-April 10-Collierville

Bernina offers a wide variety of optional presser feet to make sewing any project a breeze. In this class, Chris will cover some of the most used optional feet. You will have an opportunity to use the feet to make samples to determine if it’s one you need.
What can the students expect to accomplish in the class?
Master a perfect ¼” seam.
Use the right presser foot for piping.
Improve your topstitching skills.
Sew ruffles consistently and easily.
Choose the right foot for easy decorative stitching.
Use the correct presser foot for “difficult” materials such as plastic, vinyl, and leather.
Use the Multiple Spool Holder for organizing several spools of thread.
Level: Adult Advanced Beginner-You have experience sewing on a Bernina 400, 500, 700 or 900 series sewing machine. You must have mastery of your machine including threading, bobbin winding, changing the needle, changing presser feet, selecting various stitches, and troubleshooting.

Class Requirements purchased at the Sewing House:
18” of cording (any size),
Several pieces of scrap fabric (or something equivalent to about 2 fat quarters) to test techniques,
The Big Book of Feet (optional but recommended)
