Perfect Finishes Binding Class-March 13-Collierville

Learn to make beautiful and long lasting bindings for your quilts-from which type of binding to use on what project to how to create a flawless join with ease. You will gain the tips and confidence to proudly finish your projects.

In this class, you will learn about bias versus straight of grain binding, when to use a facing, how and when to add piping to your binding, and how to join ends invisibly and without math.

Level: Advanced Beginner-You have some sewing/quilting experience. You can consistently sew a straight line and and a 1/4” seam. You must have a mastery of your sewing machine including threading, bobbin winding, changing needle, stitch length adjustment, and changing out presser feet. You are able to use a rotary cutter and mat to cut your fabric

Fabric requirements:
Small quilted project like a placemat, table topper, or table runner 
1 yd fabric for binding
