Learn to crochet the timeless granny square, as popular today as it was in the 1970s! This versatile motif can be used to create everything from purses to sweaters to blankets. Let your imagination run wild with the endless color combinations and creative applications for this crochet classic.

In this class, you will learn chain stitch, double crochet stitch, cluster stitch, slip stitch and stitch abbreviations. Other skills you’ll learn include joining into a circle, changing colors, and weaving in yarn ends.

Level: New adult beginner or beginner refresher

Berroco Ultra Wool—3 to 5 colors of your choice
Size 8-H/5mm crochet hook
Tapestry needle
