Doug Hat-January 17-Memphis

This adorable winter wonderland hat is a fun way to learn (or practice) Fair Isle knitting. It would make the perfect gift! The Doug Hat pattern is written for three sizes: Toddler, Child/Teen, and Adult Small/Medium.

In this class, you will learn stranded knitting with two colors and how to change yarn colors. You will also work on maintaining consistent tension and working from a chart.

Level: Intermediate knitters (you have knitting experience and have finished several projects.) 

Yarn requirements purchased at the Sewing House/Delta Fibre Arts:
Yarn kit (with Doug Hat pattern code) 
US 9 (5.5 mm) 16-inch circular needle
US 8 (5.0 mm) 16-inch circular needle
Set of five US 8 double-pointed needles

Please buy your materials as soon as possible so you have time to knit the ribbed brim before the class meeting. That way we can focus on the Fair Isle section of the pattern in class.
