Beginner-Friendly Baby Cardigan Knitting Class-April 5-Memphis

Saturday, April 5 and 26, May 3, 10am to 12pm, Memphis

If you've wanted to learn how to knit a garment but have been too nervous to try, now's your chance! In this class, you will join your peers and learn how to knit an adorable, beginner-friendly baby cardigan (with options to knit sizes from 6 months to 5 years). We will discuss gauge, sizing, different cardigan/sweater styles, and more. You should be comfortable knitting and purling before taking this class. You will have homework between classes.

In this class, you will learn gauge swatching and choosing the correct size, increasing (KFB,) creating buttonholes (YO and K2TOG method) and sleeves by binding off and casting on in the middle of a row, weaving in ends, and sewing buttons on knitted garments. You will also learn cardigan construction, blocking, and finished garment care.

Level: Advanced Beginner-you should be comfortable knitting and purling before taking this class.
