Fat Quarter Shuffle/Intro to Quilting-April 24-Collierville

Level: Adult Beginner-You have some sewing experience, are comfortable using your sewing machine, and can consistently stitch a straight line and 1/4” seam.

This quilt is perfect for someone who wants to learn how to quilt! The “Fat Quarter Shuffle” pattern is beginner friendly and looks great in your choice of fabrics. It would make a great lap quilt or a gift for a child or baby!

In this class, you’ll learn to cut using a rotary cutter and ruler, piece a quilt top, learn to baste a quilt sandwich, discuss ways to quilt, and attach a sewn binding. You will have homework between classes.

Fabric requirements (must be purchased at the Sewing House:)

10 fat quarters, backing, and binding fabric according to pattern directions
