Buffalo Plaid Quilt/Introduction to Quilting-September 13-Memphis

Buffalo Plaid prints never go out of style. Our throw-sized quilt makes a great picnic quilt and is perfect for someone who wants to learn to quilt.

In this class, you’ll piece a quilt top, learn to baste a quilt sandwich, discuss ways to quilt, and attach a sewn binding. You will have homework between classes.

Level: Beginner- You have sewing experience, are comfortable using your sewing machine, and can consistently stitch a straight line and 1/4” seam.

Fabric requirements:
Fabric 1 (Light color)- 1 1/2 yards
Fabric 2 (Dark color)- 1 yard
Fabric 3 (Neutral color)- 3/4 yard
Pattern is provided by the instructor

*Time for the Sept 20 class will be discussed at the first class
