Embroidery Workshop 101-October 10-Collierville

Whether you’re new to machine embroidery or you just need help with some more difficult projects, you’ll really enjoy this workshop. Spend the morning learning about the right thread, needles and stabilizer to ensure success with your projects and then complete a monogramed hand towel to take with you. The afternoon will be spent discussing and working on a project of your choice that you bring to class. Not only learn the best stabilizer to use and the best way to hoop, but also learn from what other participants bring to class.

In this hands-on class we’ll cover basic machine embroidery skills including stabilizer, thread, needles, troubleshooting, and importing embroidery files.

Level: Adult Intermediate-You have sewing experience and have an embroidery module with your machine. You must have mastery of your machine including threading, bobbin winding, changing needles, changing presser feet, selecting various stitches, and troubleshooting.

Call The Sewing House (901-316-8783) to discuss the possibility of renting a sewing machine with an embroidery module for class.

Fabric requirements purchased at the Sewing House: 
Class kit (provided the day of class, approx. $25)
You will also bring:
 Small embroidery/applique project that can be finished in 45 minutes to 1 hour
