Lone Star Quilt-December 7-Collierville

This quilt is always one of our most requested classes! The Jelly Roll Lone Star is a great way to bring a contemporary spin on such a traditional quilt design, and this version looks much more complicated and intricate than it actually is to construct.

In this class, you will learn how to use a jelly roll (precut 2.5” strips) to begin assembling the quilt top. You will finish the quilt on your own, but an additional follow up class with the instructor will be considered if needed.

Level: Intermediate-You have quilting experience, are comfortable using your sewing machine, and can consistently sew a straight line and 1/4” seam. You are able to use a rotary cutter and mat to cut your fabric.

Fabric requirements: (Note: instructions for making the quilt will be provided at the first class.)
Jelly Roll
2 yards background fabric
3 1/2 yards backing
1/2 yard binding
