Overlocked and Loaded: Introduction to Serger Workshop-October 14-Collierville

Stop staring at the stranger across the room and learn to use your serger! Hold on to your shirttails because this is an action-oriented introduction to serger functionality and its basic applications.
At the end of this 4 hour course, you will understand the basic parts and functions of a serger, and how it differs from a sewing machine. You will master the essential skills of threading, tension adjustment, and creating basic stitches.have a completed set of reference cards for each fabric and technique we learn in class. You will also have the option to create a small project.
Level: Advanced Beginner-you need to be able to sew a consistent seam and to have finished multiple sewing projects. The goal of the class is to teach advanced beginner sewists how to use a serger.
Fabric requirements:
Kit purchased at the Sewing House (approx $25)
