Picture Smocking- March 6, 2025 - Collierville

Level: Adult Intermediate-You have some smocking experience.

Learn how to stack a cable stitch in order to create a number of fun designs including animals, cars, flowers, and more! 

In this class, you will learn how to count cables for stacking, how to place stitches to build the design correctly, and how to read a smocking plate. You will be able to complete one picture of the provided smocking plate in class. 

Please Note:  Students should have previous knowledge of basic smocking stitches, especially the cable stitch.  If you are new to smocking, you will need to take a Beginning Smocking class first.

Class requirements:  Kit can be purchased at Lace Cottage for approximately $20.
